Apply system profiles

A PowerMax software system profile is a subset of system settings that are associated with at least one storage system (array). The settings are defined once as part of a system profile, and these settings can then be applied to one or more storage systems.

To create a system profile:

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Unisphere for PowerMax.
    The home dashboard view is displayed.
  2. Optional: Go to the left panel and click Configuration > System Profiles to open the System Profiles view.
  3. Optional: Click No Assigned Profile.
  4. Optional: Select a system and click Apply Profile.
  5. Select a system profile name.
  6. Click OK.
